Review (5 Star): At first after application it tend to make your hair feel stiff, it acts as a kind of gel, If you apply after a shower and you let it dry without combing it then you will dry up and harden your hair, especially if your hair is long. Personally, I take pleasure in this side effect as I refuse to apply any other moose or gel products and the Nioxin allows me to style my hair a little bit and give it essence. I have to admit the results are dramatic (in a good way) it is an exceptionally small price to pay for unquestionably stronger/healthy hair. Most of my hair stylist noticed. I usually lose a substantial amount of hair when I shower, not anymore. This problem has decreased by 70%. Although you may find Nioxin scalp treatment products expensive, it is well worth the money. It doesn’t instantly grow your hair back, you have to be patient when using this product, unless you’re young and early in the thinning process, you might see very slight growth. Personally, I have seen huge changes after using Nioxin hair treatment products. Basically it strengthened my hair I did have, gave it a thicker look, and completely stopped the thinning process. For hair growth, I apply Rogaine extra strength in conjunction with Nioxin, and it has worked great. Note, however, Rogaine only works for people balding at the top of the head and have heritable hair loss. I also use the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner which ii highly recommend.
